The white environment at 3000 meters is in dialogue with the dancer who dances the lead in Der Schnee und das Mädchen she seems delayed and weightless. The vulnerable body of a woman is in sharp contrast with the powerfully cold environment and surrealistic images. The snow is not a simply a partner; at one moment the woman nests in the snow as if it is a blanket, the next moment she falls and speeds up. Like a red ball, she rolls off the mountain while she takes snow with her to then tries and climb back up. When she gets to the top you can see more of the panorama. Her movement becomes delayed and seems natural. She seems to glide like a bird of prey in the air.
