Katharina Conradi studied dance, theatre and choreography in Amsterdam, New York and Berlin. For 15 Years she has been working as dancer, performer, dance maker, teacher and movement dramaturge in Holland and Europe.

In 1991 she founded Fresh Tracks productions in Amsterdam. Fresh Tracks produces Artistic and Cultural projects within and outside Holland. Fresh Tracks receives subsidies from the Prins Bernhard Fonds, VSB Fonds, Fonds voor Amateur Kunst, Mama Cash, Kunststiftung Baden-Wurttenberg different dnace and theaterwerkplaatsen.

Katharina's artistic work is characterized by the way she experiences the body through the sences and through space. She works with the border between dance and theatre and works with different artists from other disciplines. Recent projects include a short dance film Der Schnee und das Mädchen with filmmaker Josje van Erkel and a dance performance with dancer/choreographer Fabian chyle, which was filmed in an old grain factory in Amsterdam. Katharina Conradi has also worked with performer/director Sarah Ringoet on Zwarte Vlinders (2000), Hundert Thousand Million Days (2003), Some Blonde Gave Me Nightmares (2004), Kom dichter (2004/2005). She worked as a movement advisor in the production Zucht (2002) by Orkater and performed in Tino Sehgal's work Instead of at the Stedelijke Museum Amsterdam.

For many years Katharina Conradi has been interested in social-cultural projects. She worked with Fabian Chyle in a prison in Stutgard, Germany and made a project in Utrecht integrating different cultures with Sharon Varekamp in the Tweetakt Festival Utrecht GE:HE?IM! (2006 Tweetakt/Theaterwerk NL).

Katharina Conradi is currently employed at the Amsterdam Arts University (mime, directing) and CODARTS (Dance Academy of Rotterdam). She advises the artistic work of theatre makers as a movement dramaturge and coach. Katharina also works as a dance therapist with various target groups on creative therapeutic projects.

Katharina and Jenn Ben Jakov are the Artistic Directors for Studio Seven..
